    Hi,

Running current NoMachine v9.3.1 on a CachyOS KDE Wayland host and a CachyOS KDE x11 guest.
The default “Scale To Window” option is not working correctly?
The guest window is not scaled to fit, it is full size and I have to move the mouse cursor to top/bottom to move screen? Any idea how to fix the above, let me know thanks!

Hi. The behaviour you described matches the viewport mode, rather than the scaling mode. In viewport mode, the remote desktop is rendered at its native resolution and the client window acts as a viewport onto it. Scaling mode instead is a client-side rendering operation, so there are no dependencies on the remote OS.

To better understand your problem, could you clarify:

    – What is the exact sequence you follow to enable “Scale to Window”?
    – After enabling it, does the “Scale to Window” button remains active even after leaving and entering again the menu?

I’d like to be sure that the client is not switching out to viewport mode, or that the UI indicates the scaling while the rendering pipeline is not applying it.
