    I work from home from time to time and am looking to see if and how I can setup a work PC (windows enterprise) as a server (while it is connected to the corporate VPN) so that I can access that laptop from another PC at home.  I can plug a USB network adapter if that is needed to make it happen.  Any ideas is greatly appreciated.

    It’s not quite clear what the set-up is. Is the problem that your work’s computer is part of a restricted corporate network and your cannot access to it from home?
