Slow connection to server from one Linux Mint 22 desktop

Hello,

home user here with a Ubuntu 24.04 server and several Linux Mint PC’s.

Accessing the server from all LM clients is working fine but only one, connects, and input shows after a few minutes.

Created a new user on the client side but tha same issue. LM Laptop and other LM desktop is working as a charm.

Because I want to use the ‘faulty’ LM client as my master, I do need to get it to work.

Tried also to delete everything, program, /usr/NX folder and $home/.nx folder but nothing changes.

The problem I’m facing is on two machines with AMD integrated GPU.

My server has a AMD cpu and internal gpu and my new desktop PC is a Asrock deskmini X600 with also a AMD cpu and gpu.

Hi, can you try disabling hardware decoding on the client machine that you are connecting from? See the article for further instructions making sure to set the appropriate key to “disabled”.
