Sound not working- can’t change sound output from NoMachine Microphone Adapter

This post is related to the one that has already been closed below. This computer is not outputting any audio- it is locked on NoMachine Microphone Adapter.

I have tried multiple solutions to address this issue, including this post as well.

I can’t change the default output, and the commands provided to use the NoMachine Audio Adapter aren’t working. Note that I have ran those commands as an administrator.

Any idea how I can get this computer to output audio?

I would like to know some details in order to help you:

* the version of Windows you use

* please check if Audio Service is running or not

* You wrote that you can’t change the default output. Do you mean there are no other options available besides NM Audio Adapter or maybe there are but you can’t choose them? Or you can choose other options but they don’t work?
