Space-bar holding doesn’t work in Yt

Just wanted to report that I’m affected by https://forum.nomachine.com/topic/issue-with-press-and-hold-keys when holding the space key on Yt site to speed-up a video it sticks on pause-resume instead. Still works with the mouse button, so the issue is really minor.

The version is free, two Linux Pop OS are connected.

Thanks for reporting. We’ve reproduced it and confirm that disabling the autorepeat using # xset r off in a local terminal should fix it.

If you’re interested to go further: that doesn’t help me. (I tried that from the referred topic and now again.) Sadly the only browser I can try is Brave (latest stable).

Strange, the workaround works for us using Brave. – xset r off must be set locally on the side you are connecting from, not inside the session.

I was sure that was for the sharing machine. Yes, that way works; though navigation with arrows is worse.
Anyway it’s a minor thing, just wanted to report for awareness and maybe fixing once in a time. Thank you!!

What do you mean exactly?

I mean it obviously preventing holding the arrow keys, so need to use _page down_ much more and hence these becomes less smooth. %)
