ParticipantHello,
I need some explaination to understand this command on ECS V8.16.1 :
$ sudo /etc/NX/nxserver –subscriptionlist
—–
Node Name Node Product Expire Date Distro Status
————- ———— ——————- ———- ——-
M-111 EDE 2025-05-23 08:05:28 Windows 11 OK
M-222 ED 2025-04-17 17:59:19 Windows 11 Expired
M.4 EDSE 2025-07-17 10:21:22 CentOS OK
Local node ECSE 2025-07-17 09:21:22 RedHat OK
M.7 SBTSE 2025-04-20 11:35:28 CentOS OK
M-333 EDSE 2025-07-17 10:21:22 Windows 11 OK
—–
Q1- The 1st line is inconsistent : how can it be OK with this “Expire date” (12 days ago !) ?
Q2- What are the meanings of “Node Product” ?
EDE ?
ED : Enterprise Desktop:
EDSE ?
SBTSE ?
Q2b – What are all possible values and descriptions ?
Q3 – What does “unreachable” mean with /nxserver –nodelist –extended command ?
Q4- Why is it not possible to update the licence key of “unreachable” servers (they are ON), from ECS, with a new evaluation key provided by NoMachine team ?
Q5- Does it mean the update of the licence key must be done before it expires ?
Thanks,
Regards,
Steve.

ParticipantHi Steve,
Q1- This is a problem that is known (https://kb.nomachine.com/TR04W11312), we already fixed it in V9, and it has been solved in V8.17 that was released a few days ago.
Q2- You can find all the Acronyms of NoMachine server subscriptions V9 in this article: NoMachine – NoMachine Subscription Acronyms And Support Levels – Version 9 – Knowledge Base
Q3- Unreachable means that due to any reason, the ECS cannot connect to the node. They can see more information when running for ex. sudo /etc/NX/nxserver –nodeinfo M.7 (name, IP or UUID of the node)
Q4- Updating the license of an expired product is possible, but in case of ‘unreachable’, it means that the ECS cannot connect to the node, and therfeore cannot handle license update.
Q5- The administrator can connect and replace a licence even when the software is expired, but updating a license before its expiry is recommended in order to avoid the issues highlighted in the point 4.

ParticipantSteve,
Q2- Acronyms list V9 is a little bit different from V8. There is a notion of O/S ?
Thanks!

Steve.
