Dear NoMachine community
thank you very much for having spread at some degree of usability your nice server-client system for desktop&file sharing.
On my machine cluster (ca. 6 machine) I am thinking of using NoMachine instead of teamviewer or remote desktop (all macs and a linux machine). Now today concretely:
I installed from the latest on two remote sites (A and B) NoMachine 5.3.9 – both sites have OSX Sierra.
After having installed your nice server program (NoMachine free edition) on both sites and having opened ports, disabled firewalls, also me is getting the now famous warning (and no connection defacto):
The server was unable to make the local display available or access to the local display is disabled.
That costed me today already three hours of web searching, blogging, and I have to see that also other mac users have the same issue… so we found a way to distantiate us or is it now a method to submit you machine-after-machine the own connection logs 😉 ?
It seems you did not find any solution yet, so the thought whether to switch to the paid industrial version could be put in doubt … ?
Thank you also for solving this (…) new problem 😉
Regards
