Typing delay on NoMachine

I’ve just installed NoMachine for trailing out and it works very well on a computer and laptops but performance is low on the iPad

Delays in typing have been from almost 1 second per key at times and changing the quality to lowest and resolution to lowest have not changed the performance enough for it to be greatly usable.  I was wondering if anyone has had issues like this before and if they’re any tweaks in the configs I can do to improve this.

Remote OS: Ubuntu 16.04

Ram: 8GB

HD: 16GB

iOS: 10.2.1

iPad : 4th Gen 16GB

We’re not aware of similar issues, so we’d need more information to investigate your report.

• What is the NoMachine version installed on the server?
• Are you connecting to a virtual or physical desktop?
• When the problem occurs, do you see a general slowness (all updates are slow) or is the problem limited to keys?
• Can you try if the same problem occurs with all applications (e.g. Terminal, different text editors, browser’s address bar)?
• Do you’ve a way to test another server with a different OS, like OS X?
• Are you connecting to the server through a LAN or a WAN? Do you know your bandwidth and latency?
• Could you try NoMachine when no other apps are running in background?
