I have an Eizo CS240 monitor running on a Mac Studio. When I use any of the calibrated modes on the monitor, the colors in a NM Windows VM is extremely saturated. I guess the Mac/Eizo is running in 10 bit mode.

Anyone knows what is going on here?

Are you able to submit a screenshot?

Just so we have your setup clear: your client is Mac and the server side is Windows in a virtual machine? Can you provide more details such as OS version on the client side and details of the server setup as well?

Yes correct. Os version on client is latest Macos Ventura. Server is latest Win11 running on Unraid VM platform.

I am not able to provide screenshot here from mobile, but think of normal Windows colors and then double the saturation level. Really strong colors. Correct colors but oversaturated.

I am wakening this thread again.

Here are some screenshots from the Mac client. As you can see, both the client application and the colors rendered of the VM is oversatured. This happens on typically wide gamut displays, when the application does not take into consideration the ICC profile used by the OS.

So we’ll need to evaluate carefully how to handle it. Anything related to setting a different color space is something complex to be evaluated on multiple hardware specs. Thanks for reporting.
