Hello,
In the latest version of Cloud Server, is it possible for all users to see how many people are connected to each server?
When logged in as an administrator, I see the Cloud Server and it states ‘0 connected’, which is hopeful. But with any of our Mac servers, it just states the HOSTNAME:PORT. With current social distancing in place worldwide, i’m testing Cloud Server and Enterprise desktop with a view to our students remotely accessing our internal workstations from home.
I’ve seen pictures and video footage of this being possible with what looks like previous versions of NoMachine but I can’t find a way of doing it. We’ve limited the number of connections to each node to one so users connecting to a server already in use will get an error message after a few sections. I can see students being really frustrated by having to constantly try and connect to multiple servers until they find one available.
Or, is there a way of hiding any servers that don’t have any connections available? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I found a closed forum post from a couple of years ago that appears to be asking for the same thing:

Kind regards,

In the past few months we have been adding improvements to Cloud Server, one of which is the soon to be released feature (probably next week) of being able to see whether other users are connected. It will eliminate your students’ frustration, I’m sure.

Not at the moment, but in a successive release (I can’t say which right now), this other feature is planned:
Giving the possibility to exclude an Enterprise Desktop from the Cloud Server architecture

Thank you for the quick reply.
That’s great news. I’ve subscribed to both of those feature requests. I look forward to testing them soon.
