Hi, found out about NoMachine a day ago and giving it a try. Running the host on a Dell latitute laptop running Mint, connecting from Windows 10. Trying to run it with the lid closed and a virtual display. It works fine with the lid up, also with the lid down but set to do nothing. Opening the lid just a little bit to peek I see the video is on. What I’m looking for is a solution similar to [removed]’s virtual display, which is created and falls back to it when a physical display gets disabled. Is that possible on the free version? Been seeing some screenshots about that option but can’t seem to find it anywhere on this version.

NoMachine is designed to work out-of-the-box on Linux headless machines. It can detect when the X server is not running and so runs its own virtual display.
