Using Win 7 Client 4.0.369 and Linux Mint 16 Cinnamon Server 4.0.369 as well on 64bit OS both free versions.
When you login you are presented with the Linux Mint mdm login screen. Once you enter the password and login the screen goes black and you’re kicked back to the connect screen on the client. When you connect again it hangs for a bit and then displays everything else fine. here is the ps auxwww|grep X for before and after login:

It’s safe to say the X Server is not rebooting however it does appear that the nxnode is resetting. Any assistance would be much provided in resolving this either through software or additional configuration suggestions.
