Hi folks, thanks for any help in advance.

I’m having a problem where the computers are able to see each other, the connections auto populate in the NoMachine connection list, but I am unable to connect with username in password no matter what I do. I have the connection set as private. I am able to connect over the external IP but not over the local IP in the lan. I have done all the fixes here.

    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-networking/network-status-not-operational/e6ae83f2-9cdf-4e88-9996-2c4ca269451a

Below is the fix from that link that I tried.

    Open Start, type: system information
    Hit Enter
    Click System summary
    Look in the right pane

Copy the system sku info into reply here.

    See example: https://imgur.com/qzektpA

    Open Start, type: CMD
    Right click CMD
    Click Run as administrator

    At the command prompt, type:

    netsh int ip reset

    Hit Enter
    Exit the prompt then restart

Open Start > Settings > Update & security > Troubleshoot
    Scroll down
    Click Network adapters
    Click Run the Troubleshooter

When complete, restart to see if the problem is resolved.

If not, press Windows key + X
    Click Device Manager
    Expand Network adapters

    Right click your adapter
    Click Uninstall

Exit Device Manager, restart. Windows 10 should detect the network adapter then reinstall it. Check if you can connect and browse.

    also try:

Open Start > Settings > Network & Internet > Status

Scroll to the bottom then click Network reset.

    1. Which NoMachine version are you using?
    2. Are you able to ping that machine using IP address?
    3. Are you able to ping that machine using hostname?
    4. During NoMachine connection are you using IP or hostname?
    5. What exact error shows? Can you send a screenshot?
    6. Can you send a screenshot of NoMachine processes on the server host? (Ctrl+Shift+Esc, choose “More details” and sort by name).
