Hi Gega,
Thanks for the answer!
I have added the argument ‘timeout=5’ to nxnode.cfg, but the server is still taking around 40 seconds to detect a connection drop. Is there any extra configuration I should be adding? Would the UserScripts be executed faster than the time it takes the disconnection to be reflected on the command ‘nxserver –list’?
Regards,
Dario
lipiglParticipantOh I see… Sorry for the misunderstanding!
Well then, I guess we will have to handle our commands through a separate application in the meantime.
Thanks for your time!
lipiglParticipantHi Britgirl,
Thanks for the answer! Well, even if the touch events are not sent in a standard way (i.e. /dev/input/eventN), I could (if the protocol were accessible and documented) handle the non-standard way within my application. Is there any information on that topic?
lipiglParticipantThanks! I will try that.
lipiglParticipantHi fra81,
Thanks for the answer!
That’s a shame… Could you then tell me how to reduce CPU usage as much as possible? Image quality is not a priority for the time being. I have lowered the FPS to 30 (is it possible to go lower than that?) and set the ‘DisplayServerPriority’ and ‘DisplayAgentPriority’ parameters to ‘low’. Is it possible to use a lower resolution or a color bit depth than the ones configured for the screen?
Kind regards,
Dario
lipiglParticipantI am getting the same behavior on a remote with Ubuntu 16.04 (ARM), Unity, lightdm, headless. I get a black screen until I plug an HDMI monitor on the remote device, then it works OK. Restarting nxserver does not help. The problem was not present with the previous version.
I have sent an email asking for the patched version.
lipiglParticipantHi kroy,
Sorry for my late answer, I was expecting to get an email when I got a message, so I didn’t read yours until I checked the forums!
If I kill the Desktop Manager and restart NoMachine, when I try to connect again I shortly get a black screen and then get kicked back to the ¨Recent connections¨ screen on the client (no matter how many times I try to connect). Rebooting the server board allows me to connect once again, with the original Desktop Manager session.
