    Hi, I am connecting from Windows 11 to Ubuntu 24.04 using NoMachine 9.2.18. The up arrow key is not working. It opens a printscreen window in Ubuntu. I appreciate any help in fixing this. Thanks.

    I ran setxkbmap -print : the outputs are:

    xkb_keymap {

    xkb_keycodes  { include “xfree86+aliases(qwerty)” };

    xkb_types     { include “complete” };

    xkb_compat    { include “complete” };

    xkb_symbols   { include “pc+us+us:2” };

    xkb_geometry  { include “pc(pc104)” };

    };

    Please have a look at the following topic with exactly the same title, ironically 😀

    I have the same problem and systems (Win11 client, Ubuntu 24.04 server) and the suggested fix worked for me. I have set up Ubuntu to have 1 active keyboard layout (US-Qwerty) so I typed

    setxkbmap -rules evdev -model evdev -layout us

    in a terminal inside the remote session, then disconnected and connected again. Arrow keys, home etc. are now working fine. Unsure if I have to to it again after a reboot.
