Hi guys,
I had a post on this the topic of usb device sharing earlier this year:
Cannot share USB devices from Windows 10 to Mac Sonoma
I’d like to open the discussion again. So I’ve come back to NoMachine after all this time running some tests to see what the current state of the device forwarding is. Now, I am not able to forward any devices from the client or server side at all. For a refresher, I have a Windows 10 laptop (running the latest version of NoMachine, 9.1.24) connecting to a Mac Tahoe (running the latest version of NoMachine, 9.1.24). When I connect a USB device to the Windows machine, nothing happens. It never detects a connected device in NoMachine (the device is available in the File Explorer as expected). I’ve attached 2 images, showing no devices in the NoMachine UI, and at the same time you can see an Android and iPhone are connected to the Windows machine. Previously, I could see all the devices in the NoMachine UI and had the option to share/forward them. Now, I can’t even see them in the UI.
The only thing that has changed on with the Windows and Mac machines is their OS and application updates. I see that you guys have done something to the device forwarding functionality as it has an entry in the version 9 release notes:

But it’s not clear to me how that might create an issue here. Any input here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
