Connecting from Windows to Ubuntu session closes

I have an issue that seems to common for people with Nvidia graphics cards. The session connects, I can see the Ubuntu desktop, and then the noMachine session closes seconds later. I have already edited C:\Users\[userName]\.nx\config\player.cfg to have this value: <option key=”Enable hardware accelerated decoding” value=”disabled” />

I force closed NoMachine, edited the above value for all user accounts on the machine, including the administrator account, saved the player.cfg files, rebooted, and still have the same issue.

Any suggestions?

Can you send us the logs from both sides? Follow the instructions here: https://kb.nomachine.com/DT07S00243

(make sure that after enabling logs, you reproduce the problem, then gather up the logs)
