    Hello.

I checked a number of threads but haven’t found/resolved my case.

I am using Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS GNOME server (local LAN VM) and Windows 11 client.

Both latest versions of NoMachine free version installed.
    Ubuntu (server) – 9.1.24_6
    Windows 11 (client) – 9.1.24_6

Mic in is enabled, mic forwarding also.
The problem is that i see mic “Remapped nx_voice_out”
When i enable mic in in the session. I hear myself out my speaker.
I think its some kind of loop.
I have tried a lot. But never was i possible to make my laptop mic work inside the Ubuntu machine.
Speaker from inside machine does work and gets forwarded to my windows laptop.
I have the nomachine audio drivers on my windows 11 installed.

I have attached the logs in zip file.
Also screenshot of the input options.

Thank you for your help and time.

Hi, I was about to reply to your other post which is in https://forum.nomachine.com/topic/mic-forward-from-win11-to-mint.

We looked at the attachment you submitted, but we need to see NoMachine server logs from the Ubuntu host and Player logs from the Windows 11 machine. You can extract them using the instructions here: https://kb.nomachine.com/DT08U00298

Attach them here or send them to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com. Please use the title of this topic as the subject of your email. Thanks!

    Hi.

Following up on Britgirl’s post, could you also provide the output of these commands when you send the logs?
    systemctl -–user status pulseaudio.*
    systemctl -–user status pipewire.*
    systemctl -–user status pipewire-pulse.*

This will help us check the status and versions of the relevant services, which will give us a better picture of the issue.

    Thanks!
    Kuba
