    I can report after a few days use that the temporary workaround does work.

    I’ve unchecked the “Disable multi-pass display encoding” as suggested and after testing for a short while I  have not experienced any blurred fonts yet. So it does seem to fix the issues. I’m assuming that is still a bug on your side since from what I found on this forum “Disable multi-pass display encoding” checked should result in better visual quality, not worst?

    I will now test with my current settings and report back in a couple of days to let you guys know if the issue resurfaces.

    Graywolf, I tried your commands. the lshw does not return anything under the display class. And the env returns:

     

    DISPLAY=:0

    The attached image even more clearly shows the blurred font.
