    Also, the server can’t find a Gateway IP address. The message explaining that that is not necessarily a problem is a little confusing to me.

    And when I try to enable SSH or NX ports, it says it fails to map these ports.

    Hi!

    I turned off both firewalls, but still could not connect. Same error message.

    Server Computer is Windows 7 Professional, Version 6.1

    Remote computer is Windows 7 Home Version, Version 6.1

    No Antivirus programs are installed.

    This is a Windows to Windows connection.
    The error message is the following:
    Error is 138: Connection timed out.
