Although technically I can do everything with the hardware decoding disabled, the performance is significantly worse and noticeable. What does hardware decoding do and is there anyway this will be fixed in the future?

Update:

everything works as described by rtsoliday after “Disable client side hardware decoding” option is selected. All my Intel graphics drivers are up-to-date.. perhaps something wrong with the new patch update?

Where can I find “Disable client side hardware decoding”? And will it work if I revert back to 6.9.*?
