Hey zspace,
Please help us to investigate further by sending us the logs. Instructions here: https://www.nomachine.com/DT04M00076 and send them to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com. Could you clarify – you connect from your Macbook to Windows (bootcamped on iMac)? If yes, please use instruction: “3. Gather server side logs on Windows” and “5. Gather client side logs on Mac OS X”.
RiddlerParticipantHello zspace, thank you for reporting this issue.
I tried to reproduce it but without any result. Could you give me more info? e.g version of NoMachine on both machines, and direction of connection (which machine is server)? Maybe an update on both computers could fix this issue (if you are not using the latest version).
RiddlerParticipantHello soundbase,
The problem is probably on your system’s side. Please check your system configuration (eg. sound mixer, default devices, mute). Next please make sure again you have enabled checkbox for Audio streaming in NoMachine Audio settings. The combobox should be set to “Autodetected” or, if you wish, to other preferred output devices. Changing settings in Mac Audio MIDI Setup is unnecessary – the default sound stream on NoMachine should work without any additional activities. If these steps don’t help you, please insert here print-screens with your system sound configurations on both devices. -
