    Hi,

I can confirm that the problem goes away with scaling set at 100%.

    Still the same with 7.9.2

Fair enough, I will try to find time.

    Thanks for the help.

    Hi,

My eyes cannot handle a 100% scaling and a lot of my customers have a higher scaling than 100%.

Now, I don’t see this on all machines I login to. So is it mine or theirs? I can scale back my machine but it won’t work for me.

    Hi,

I sent the logs for the server and my client logs. I uploaded also

Can you please let me know what the issue is? Same building and 2 out of 4 machines have no file transfer windows.

Do I delete .bin file and restore original file?

    Thanks

    Hi,

I’m sorry, I was confused by the late response.

I will look into it, but it’s a friend’s machine so it won’t be right away.

    Thanks.

    – What is the server, client OS

    Windows 10 19044.1415 both machines

    – What is the NoMachine version on server, client

    7.7.4 Both machines

    – Which selection you are using for transferring files
    * Download file from the server
    * Upload file from the client

    Both. Neither work

    – Additionally, can you verify if “Open menu panel” is opening menu on the client

    Doesn’t work either

Sorry, you hit the nail on the head!!

I run most computers in French Canadian. I had named the computer guêpe. I hadn’t though of it and I looked at the logs and figured also that that was the issue. I renamed it and all is well.

    You are great detectives! Thanks.

    Hi,

I sent the files. But I found the problem.

I would also like to share a remark. Is it necessary to moderate every post even after a user has been identified as legit? In my 20 plus years of doing desktop support this the first time that I have seen a forum that moderates all posts. It’s long and strenuous. I understand that trolls can be annoying but this forum is based more on concrete help and not opinions on any and everything.

I’m sure I’m not the first to suggest this. Thanks.

So, there isn’t a workaround for now?

    Hi,

I just sent the updated files. I  hope that it gives you a clue. I just keep seeing a bunch of icons popping up in the systray and I can see that it’s creating a bunch of folders in the log section.

    Hi Britgirl,

It is almost impossible to copy the folders. Like I said !M icons are popping in and out all over the systray and creating folders over and over. I will send what I was able to extract.

    Thanks.
