I found two replies from 2021 referring to an upcoming high priority feature request for “Integrating the NoMachine window fullscreen mode with macOS Spaces management.”
- https://forum.nomachine.com/topic/full-screen-display-on-mac#post-34827
There is also a post from 2017 that refers to this issue, which in turn refers to an KB article, which in turn links to the same closed feature request:
- https://kb.nomachine.com/TR02L04268
However, the feature request is no longer visible and the spaces support is not working on my system.
- M3 MacBook Air
- MacOS: Sonoma 14.5
- NoMachine: 8.13.1
I cannot “drop” an NX window onto the Spaces bar and fullscreen is obscured by the menubar.
August 14, 2024 at 16:46 #49201BritgirlKeymasterThanks for reaching out. The implementation of the feature”Integrating the NoMachine window fullscreen mode with macOS Spaces management” was postponed to a later release. We fully understand that it this is important for our Mac users. We’ve not dedicated the necessary resources simply because of other development priorities related to version 9 and NoMachine Network. Once v9 is out, we can start on integration.
We moved our development roadmap from the public knowledge base, as you probably read from the message that appears when you click on a link to any FR.

Any chance you could drop a direct link to the development roadmap? I’ve been poking around the KB but I’m not having any luck (it’s probably right in front of me…).
Thank you very much!
August 22, 2024 at 08:19 #49284BritgirlKeymasterHi, the development roadmap is no longer in the public domain. Indeed they log the evolution and design of our software and are documents that go into extreme detail. There is a public section for Trouble Reports where we publish bug reports, the workarounds available and eventual closure.
