I did try the virtual desktop and do not see the problem at all.

    This is interesting.

It would help a lot if we could reproduce in labs. Would you tell me how to reproduce it using Cadence Virtuoso?

All the interventions so far have been for the remote Workstation installation, the Linux server. So there is no need to alter anything on the Mac client.

Please try the virtual desktop anyway: we need to know how it works with no modifications to node.cfg (so you don’t need to ask the CAD guy). To be clear, I’m not asking you to abandon single application mode to embrace virtual desktop: I’d just like to know if the problem only affects single application mode or is more general.

If I got it right, the CAD you are using is Cadence Virtuoso. I’ve get access to a Virtuoso installation: if you tell me where to find in Virtuoso that window exhibiting the scroll issue,  I’ll try to reproduce the problem on my own.

Would you try -defercore in DisplayServerExtraOptions (node.cfg)?

Does the issue occur in virtual desktop as well as in rootless mode?

Hello. Should it happen again, please take notice of the result of the following command:

    xprop -root | grep XKB

Try to uncheck “Use acceleration for display processing” in NoMachine server settings.

cfilipescu: it looks your sudo command returns CRLF as line terminator. That would be a problem, by the way future versions will address it. It is unusual that commands on Unix systems do that, I’m curious: how is it set up?

OK. Should it happen again, please take note of the expected symbol/behavior and the actual wrong symbol/behavior for the affected keys.

Are you using Linux to connect to Windows?

Would you describe how the keyboard is mapped wrong?

In any case, NoMachine does not change the keyboard layout of the server when sharing the desktop.

May I send a debugging version of a server component? Would you try it?

    Hi,

When running sudo -l the following is present:

User may run the following commands on :
    (ALL) ALL

    Hello, what about these:

    • authselect current
    • grep sudoers /etc/nsswitch.conf
    • sudo -l -U myusername (in a root shell)

    Please compare if they differ:

    • Running sudo -l using a shell owned by your user
    • Running `sudo -l -U “myusername”

    Report the output of commands:

    • authselect current
    • grep sudoers /etc/nsswitch.conf

Hello, could you check the result of command sudo -l with your admin non-root user?

Would you search for errors in /usr/NX/var/log/nxerror.log and $HOME/.nx/*/session ?

    Hello.

What do you get running sudo -l with your user?  You should get something like

User xxxxxx may run the following commands on yyyyyy:
    (ALL) ALL

Is there any error logged in /usr/NX/var/log/nxerror.log or in $HOME/.nx/*/session ?

We have reproduced it. A fix will be released along with the next version.
