snejokParticipant
Oh, sorry ๐
Attachments:
snejokParticipantYes, I did.
I attached server, node, nxplayer and session configs.
Attachments:
snejokParticipantSessionLogLevel 8
Is it a new log level? ๐
snejokParticipantSame for me on iOS App.
Server: ALT Linux 6.0 SPT x86_64 – nomachine-enterprise-server-evaluation_4.3.30_2_x86_64.rpm
Client: Ipad 3 with iOS 8.1, standard keyboard
Inside a session: I can’t type Russian in Chromium browser address bar or on web page edit boxes, for example.
But, if I change keyboard layout inside a session from En to Ru, than I can type Russian by English letters ๐
snejokParticipantDear NoMachine,I want to say, that my users don’t understand how to cancel connection when problems occurs on connection step (or close connection window), because they work on thin clients with no window decoration, so they have only one way: hard reset the thin client by hardware button, because there is no visible buttons. It will be good if you add button Cancel on this screen (see attachment again)snejokParticipantDear NoMachine,
could you please replace the behavior of “hidden animated button” by simple “Cancel/Stop connection” button, because users don’t understand how to cancel connection on this step, if some problems occurs. I mean could you move “Cancel function” from animation to usual button, because it is not obvious behavior.
snejokParticipantIn other way, without โexit option nxplayer returns to connections list or to connections options window.
Tor, you mean this is ok? ๐
snejokParticipantHello all!
+1 same question.
snejokParticipantSorry, of course:
1. nomachine-enterprise-client_4.3.24_1.exe/i586.rpm andย nomachine-enterprise-server-evaluation_4.3.24_2_x86_64.rpm
2. Virtual Display connection
3. WinXP/Ubuntu Linux
Excuse me again, because I forgot to say that I use undocumented option –exit on my Linux, so nxplayer window closes when click to animation.
In other way, without –exit option nxplayer returns to connections list or to connections options window.
snejokParticipantTor, could you tell more about shortcuts please?:)
snejokParticipantHi!
You can find your encrypted password in /home/your_USERNAME/NoMachine/*.nxs file.
Encryption algorithm decribed in https://www.nomachine.com/AR01C00125
snejokParticipantThank you, dear NoMachine!!
I found the problem, it was in my environment:
8392 8973 11:40:49 201.250 DeviceServiceDisk: Read [50] bytes. Received an output string : ‘fuse: failed to open /dev/fuse: Permission denied
‘.
8392 8973 11:40:49 201.336 DeviceServiceDisk: Received output from the nxfs: ‘fuse: failed to open /dev/fuse: Permission denied
‘.Fixed by:
# gpasswd -a user fuse
Adding user user to group fusesnejokParticipantThank you for your answer! Yes, I want to try debug version, how can I get it?
snejokParticipantBritgirl, as I know, “–redirect” option is only one way to force “user or ip” to choose certain node.
I think it will be nice if you could make fully “redirect and forget” mechanism and sessions will continue to work when Enterprise Server shuts down ๐
Because Enterprise Server “stays in the middle” of NX session in the current realisation and is a point of failure. Maybe clusterisation helps with it, but, as I understand, anyway all nx sessions will be disconnected when the cluster switch (or not?).
I speak about “fully redirect” mechanism, that redirects session on another NXSERVER and forgets about this session (will not stay in the middle): works as dispetcher-redirector only.
snejokParticipantI mean that I had problem some time ago, but now there is no problem (I can’t reproduce this the problem) ๐
