The problem has been resolved. Confirmed that it is a problem with the NVIDIA driver, and after uninstalling, it can be connected normally. The recommended driver from Ubuntu given is “nvidia-340”, and I installed the same one, which caused this issues. Later on, I discovered that there was another nvidia-driver-390, and I tried to install it, reboot, and the problem was resolved.
By the way, this is a headless server.
wyslmtParticipantGreat, after disabling the EnableHardwareEncoding key, now the memory usage has been reduced to the normal level, thank you so much!!

here is the whole client side log
wyslmtParticipantThere are many subfolders in it, and it is more than 400MB, how should I send it to you?
wyslmtParticipantGreat, after upgrading server to 6.11.2 and checked the “Disable client side hardware decoding”, the connection was successful (without pack option), but the screen back to fuzzy, then I checked the “Disable client side image post-processing”, the screen return to normal, just that the remote response is a little bit slower, but it is still acceptable.
Thank you all!
wyslmtParticipantYes, the server is running on a headless machine. I’ve tried the following combinations:
( client => 6.11.2, server => 6.11.2 )
( client => 6.10.12, server => 6.11.2 )
( client => 6.11.2, server => 6.10.12 )
the screen is still white, It works only when both sides are 6.10.12
I’ve been using version 6.10.12 all this time, and I’m still waiting for the new version to try again.
wyslmtParticipantmy bad , please ignore the log in the topic , here is the log with debug:)
Thanks!
