for any other reader’s benefit, the command process is:
Show the connection status -> Connection preferences -> Performance
Just for the record, both GUI labels are correct. It depends on whether you are using the free version or not.
‘Show the server status -> Server preferences -> Performance’ appears in any of the server products from the NoMachine for the Enterprise range.

Can you tell us what version of NoMachine you have installed both sides? If you haven’t update to 4.3.30, please do. If you are still having problems let us know.

It has since been added. I suggest you update to the latest packages.
When you manage to reproduce the problem, grab the logs and submit them via the usual channels. We will take a look.
As Tor already mentioned, we will evaluate how to make it clearer for users that they can cancel the connection should the need arise. Remember to open a new topic for the “session sticks on connection” issue.

Can you submit a screenshot and your session configuration file, so we can check what you’ve configured? You can submit them to issues[at]nomachine[dot]com for privacy reasons. Make sure you reference your email with topic title.
I’m now stuck here. I my Nxserver commands do not seem to be working. “NXserver command not found” each time I try to run this command. I haven’t installed any nxnodes yet as the same thing happens each time.
You need to execute the full path in version 4. So for example, /usr/NX/bin/nxserver –version.
My live NX system works fine but no Audio comes out from the VM out in the local machine. I’ve ticked the multimedia option on the VM client. The server is Centos 6.4 with pulseaudio installed and running. I checked the guide to enable Audio without ESD but step 1 confused me!
Audio works out of the box with version 4 so there should be no need to configure anything. What you write makes me think you are referring to version 3. Issues for version 3 are dealt with via the website (you can contact the team using the Contact Us link). If, on the other hand, you have installed NoMachine 4 on your client and also NoMachine/NoMachine Workstation 4 on your server, and audio is not working, it will need further investigation.
