There is a bug with forwarding the camera between the remote desktop and local Mac desktop (and also vice-versa). That’s why it’s currently not possible to forward your MacBook’s internal camera to the server.

https://www.nomachine.com/TR06N06966Giorgi-G.ContributorWe’d like to investigate this further, but to do that we need your assistance. Do you still have the BSOD kernel dump file?
We tried to reproduce that issue on a couple of different machines (Win 7, without the security update), but unfortunately weren’t able to. On all machines we get warnings about driver signature and so drivers simply are not loaded. And if the driver is not loaded it can’t cause BSOD.
We’d also need you to specify the exact hardware you use. Do you happen to have the ASMedia USB 3.0 hub driver or Sierra Wi-Fi driver installed there?
To check this please check the existence of these two files:
“C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\asmthub3.sys”
and
“C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\swmbbser01.sys”
Giorgi-G.ContributorHi,
1. I checked attached logs and there is nothing strange correlated with usb forwarding module. Also it’s a bit problematic to read such a big log with different versions installed. So before collecting log it’s better to clean log folder and after restart the collection of new logs.
2. Please note that we released new version of NoMachine v6.2.4, that probably fixes issue you have. So consider updating.
3. “Could you please define what “detecting conflicting drivers” mean?”
– We simply check whether the ASMedia Root Hub driver exists in the system on the path “C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\asmthub3.sys”. And if it does, NoMachine disables the USB forwarding mechanism to avoid potential problems (in the worst scenario on rare occasions a BSOD). The only option to get worked USB forwarding on those machines is to completely uninstall ASMedia driver from the system and use default USB3.0 drivers from Windows. You can check manually whether that file exists on your system now.
June 14, 2018 at 08:17 in reply to: Cannot share USB devices or network ports from Linux to Windows #18691Giorgi-G.ContributorCan you please send us logs from both OS-es?

Send them via email to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com making sure to reference your topic.
Giorgi-G.ContributorHi,
Between 6.0.66 and 6.1.6 we added disabling of USB forwarding in case of detection of conflicting drivers. To check is it the reason why it not works on your VM’s we will need ziped logs from this folder C:\ProgramData\NoMachine\var\log
Thanks.
Giorgi-G.ContributorHi,
Thanks for this images, it’s helpful.
The logs will hopefully tell us what’s wrong. Please compress and send us this folder C:\ProgramData\NoMachine\var\log
Regards.
Giorgi-G.ContributorHi,
Can you please check if this file exists?
C:\ProgramData\NoMachine\var\log\nxusb.log
And if exists – what it contains?
Giorgi-G.ContributorHi,
it is likely that you have an issue with nxusb.ko kernel module on the Linux side.
There are 2 possible options.
1. nxusb.ko kernel module was not compiled, because of the absence of the Linux headers package.
This article will help you to resolve that issue https://www.nomachine.com/AR12J00658
2. nxusb.ko kernel is not loaded because it needs to be signed on some machines.
Detailed article about this is here https://www.nomachine.com/AR05O00929
Giorgi-G.ContributorHi,
For current release USB forwarding on MacOSX 10.13.2+ is disabled. It will be officially enabled in an upcoming maintenance release.
For now you can use a workaround that will allow you to use USB forwarding on your machines.
Please open file /Applications/NoMachine.app/Contents/Frameworks/scripts/restricted/nxusb.sh as a root user.
Find here this line
>”$systemVersion” == “10.13.1”
and change it to
“$systemVersion” == 10.13*
NOTE. Be careful, in changed line I remove “” from version number.
Save changes and restart MacOSX machine.
Giorgi-G.ContributorHello,
Can you please reproduce two different tests with restarting both machines between them?
Test 1: Try to forward your printer from Devices -> Connect a Printer.
Test 2: Try to forward your printer from Device -> Connect USB device.
Short instruction how to collect logs https://www.nomachine.com/DT10O00163
NOTE 1. Please collect SESSION logs before closing session (before closing the NoMachine Player window).
NOTE 2. Please make sure the clocks are synchronized on the machines. it’s important for us to have the same time on both machines.

We checked this case, and find out that usb forwarding is not working with iOS 11+. We have opened a Trouble Report about this, and will try to fix it asap. If want, you can subscribe to this TR and will get notification, when it will be fixed.
February 20, 2018 at 09:46 in reply to: USB forwarding of iPhone to Mac OS 10.13.1 not working #17586Giorgi-G.ContributorHi,
Can you please tell me what iPhone you try to share and what version of iOS is installed here?
And also, what is your laptop hardware (screen of window “About This Mac”) ?
Giorgi-G.ContributorWe forwarded iPhone from Windows 10 to Mac 10.12.6 in our lab without any issues.
I can suggest you to update iTunes to latest version, or reinstall it if it’s already latest version installed.
Note that before forwarding you need to connect your iPhone to Windows and authenticate it from iPhone. And only after that try to forward if with NoMachine.
Try connecting your iPhone to Windows where you have iTunes installed. Afterwards uninstall iTunes from Windows. Then forward your iPhone via NoMachine.
Also please try forwarding any another USB device (i.e. Flash Drive) to your Mac to be sure that forwarding works well on your machines.
Giorgi-G.ContributorWhat type of Ethernet card you use on this PC? Maybe it’s USB Ethernet adapter?
Giorgi-G.ContributorTo be able to investigate this issue we need to ask a few more questions.
1. Have you tried to share any USB flash drive from Devices -> Connect a USB Device menu? Any problems there?
2. Are all necessary drivers and services for DYMO LabelWriter 450 printer installed on both machines?
3. Have you tried to print something from notepad on the server?
4. Have you tried to connect your printer directly to the client and print?
5. Is the printer connected to USB 3.0 port or to USB 2.0?
