    Hi DigIT,

It looks like you haven’t added the permission on “Privacy & Security” -> “Screen recording”. On Sonoma it is “Screen & System Audio Recording”.

Please check and let us know if this solves your issue ?

    Hello n6ac,

Please try the following: enable “NoMachine” in the “Local Network” section that you’ll find in “Privacy & Security”, and log in again, to load the options.

Let us know if it works !

    Thanks

    Hi RunAway189,

Then let’s try something else, if you agree: could you send us the two scripts you mentioned earlier ( Start_de.sh and stop_de.sh ) , by email ?

You can send them to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com, making sure to reference the topic as the subject of the email.

    Thank you!

    Hi Chaoimin,

Thank you for sending the logs; we checked them and they are clean, so unfortunately, the option we provided previously didn’t work.

Can you try this option instead: DisplayServerExtraOptions “-eventdelay 0” ? We are not sure it will resolve the issue, but let’s try anyway.

We would also like to know the output of this command:

    DISPLAY=:0 xinput list –long

    Thanks!

    Hi froZZen,

Could you please re-enable Wayland, reproduce the issue and gather the logs (both server and client sides) ?

If needed, here’s the procedure to collect NoMachine logs: NoMachine – Collect Server And Client Logs Manually – Knowledge Base

You can then send them to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com, making sure to reference the topic as the subject of the email.

    Thanks !

    Hi smat70xc,

We are not able to reproduce this bug, so your logs would be helpful to understand what goes wrong.

    Hi akevinge,

Can you please make the following two tests, to help us to narrow down the issue: first, try to disable the hardware decoding. If it does not help, please try to turn off X11 vector graphics.

Let us know if it helped or not.

    Hi Ek9max,

Based on what the info you gave us, it could be due to one of the following reasons – please check and let us know if the issue is resolved :

    * Check Port 5353 (mDNS) on the Ubuntu Machine: Please verify whether port 5353 (mDNS) is blocked on the Ubuntu machine. If this port is blocked, it will prevent the machine from being visible in the NoMachine Player.

    * Verify Software Functionality: To ensure the NoMachine software is functioning correctly, run the following command on the Ubuntu machine: /etc/NX/nxserver --status

    * Manually Add the Ubuntu Machine: If the --status command confirms that all services are running, you can manually add the Ubuntu machine to the NoMachine Player on the macOS machine. To do this, use the “Add” button in the Player interface.

    Hi Hoss,

    thank you for contacting us.

keyboard is not working at all when i connect remotely > to my raspberry pi (headless)

Is it possible to attach a monitor to your raspberry? As a test, try if keyboard works or not when a monitor is connected and switched on.

Please tell us more details about the problem:

    1) does pressing the keyboard doesn’t do nothing on the remote desktop? Or a is a different/wrong character typed?

    2) Does this happen with all applications, or with a program only? Which one?

Additionally, tell us also more information about your Raspberry:

    3) processor

    4) Operating System

    Thanks !
