The logs were received but the Feature Request in question (and what you are trying to achieve) is implemented for Terminal Server Products and only works when creating a virtual desktop. These virtual screens, matching client-side screen, could not be implemented on a physical desktop.
CarinParticipantHi rj_dsl,
A followup question, is it possible to update the software via CLI? Im then looking to update the Client via SSH.
At the moment this is not possible, but this feature is planned. You can consult the feature request here: Adding the possibility to manage updates from NoMachine repositories via command line. Please make sure you subscribe to increase its importance and be notified when implemented.
CarinParticipantHi facboy,
Thank you for your questions and for sharing your use case with us.
To support in floating windows the same display protocol that is used in virtual sessions when X11 vector graphics mode is turned off is not currently in our development roadmap plan.
While is not planned to support your first request, we do have opened a feature request in line with your second suggestion: Making it possible to treat multiple monitors connected on the server as separate windows on client side.Â
Please make sure you subscribe to increase its importance.March 2, 2021 at 18:26 in reply to: Full screen mode has Mac menu and dock covering remote desktop #32219CarinParticipantHi warpuser,
the screenshots failed to attach because they exceeded the allowed file size.
Please send them directly to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com and we will take a look. Make sure you use the title of the topic in the subject of your email.
Thanks!CarinParticipantHi lmcjoma,
The log files failed to attach, maybe because they are too big.
“What I don’t understand is why you want logs from the server side, when what we have clearly is a software update problem on the client side.”
Provided the issue is on the client-side, then it would be useful if you could send us client-side logs. Please see the following article for guidance: Collect server and client logs manually.
Can you please send them directly to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com making sure you use the title of the topic in the subject of your email? Thanks!
CarinParticipantHi ty_yo,
We received your client-side logs, thank you.
Could you please verify that the port 4000 is correct when connecting to smbnxs1.slac.stanford.edu? You might need to ask the server administrator. Thanks!
CarinParticipantHi cvbx,
Thank you for letting us know, we are glad you’ve found the solution!

Thank you for letting us know.
This is a known issue and will be fixed in the next update.Edit: Fixed in version 7.2.3. https://knowledgebase.nomachine.com/SU03S00219
CarinParticipantHi rgmorris,
Yes, logs would be helpful 🙂
Can you send us logs from the client and server side, please?

You can send them as an attachment to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com making sure you use the title of the topic in the subject of your email. Thanks!CarinParticipantHi mcragun,
Probably you are using Cylance antivirus and libmdnsd.dylib is in quarantine. This is a false positive and it was reported to Cylance.
If you want to run the file without the antivirus agent blocking it, you can whitelist the file. You can do it by following the steps explained here: http://support.blackberry.com/kb/articleDetail?articleNumber=000067207.

Your log session file Windows station has been removed and added as an attachment to avoid having long amounts of log files content in the thread. 😉
CarinParticipantHi AcsPrime,
The fact that you also see this behaviour with other remote desktop tools suggests that it’s probably unrelated to NoMachine. Check CPU usage and also memory to see what processes are in use.
