ParticipantHi R. Sood,
Certificates used in NX protocol and SSH host keys work similarly to SSH host keys, and also have to be verified in the same way.
Here is an article explaining how to manage them: Keys and certificates for host verification explained and how to replace themFebruary 9, 2021 at 18:53 in reply to: Black screen on accessing NoMachine Enterprise Desktop version #31868Carin
ParticipantHi psuresh431,
The server-side logs are not complete. Can you please send us new logs?
The following step is missing: 4.2. Create a compressed tar.gz archive of the user’s home/.nx directory:
$ sudo tar -cvp --exclude 'cache*' --exclude 'images' --exclude 'temp' $HOME/.nx | gzip -c >user_nxdir.tar.gz

ParticipantPlease try with the following setting on the server side.
On the server host, edit: /Applications/NoMachine.app/Contents/Frameworks/etc/node.cfg
and past this line at the end of that file: DisplayServerExtraOptions
"-oldeventapi 1"
Be sure to use neutral double quotes.
Connect again with NoMachine and tell us if the issue persists after setting the above. Thanks!

ParticipantHi beckett37,
We received the logs, thank you! But they don’t show anything interesting as to why this problem is occurring.
If the issue it’s still happening and you have enabled debug logs, submit them again and we’ll be happy to take a look. So far we have no evidence that NoMachine is causing that problem.
Again, please send the logs as an attachment to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com making sure you use the title of the topic in the subject of your email.
Thank you!
