BritgirlKeymaster
Hi, we are aware of this issue. Thanks for taking the time to report.
BritgirlKeymasterIs NoMachine installed in the preferred path or did you install it to a non-default folder? Like this user https://forums.nomachine.com/topic/server-doesnt-start-on-windows-10#post-25928.
Zip the files you wanted to attach and try again. Alternatively, send them to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com as a zip using the topic title as the subject of your email.
December 16, 2020 at 10:44 in reply to: Performance issue –> reboot necessary + CredentialsStoring Bug? #30758BritgirlKeymasterThe logs show several errors and carrying out a thorough debug of the affected server is not something we can do via the forums. You should consider opening a support ticket.
But overall I would say that the machine is overloaded.

the only difference in the past was, that my system was used only by 2-3 users and I allowed now more users to use the systems (up to 20-30 simultaneously).
If there is 16G ram tjhis could be the problem if there are many users are there. See our test comparisons here:
https://www.nomachine.com/AR02P00966 for example. In a light environment (centos 6 with old Gnome which doesn’t consume resources like more modern systems)……Number of concurrent sessions actively used without performance penalties:
i) 13 users can surf the internet with Firefox with 8 GB of memory usage and 87% overall CPU usage.
ii) 5 users working on a 3D cad app (FreeCad) with 5 GB of total memory usage and 82% overall CPU usage.
iii) 32 users using a text editor (LibreOffice) with 12 GB of total memory usage and 86% overal CPU usageon NoMachine Terminal Server (2.40 GHz, 6 Cores, 20 GB RAM)
Try upgrading the hardware of the TS host.

December 11, 2020 at 17:52 in reply to: Performance issue –> reboot necessary + CredentialsStoring Bug? #30721BritgirlKeymasterWhat has changed recently on the system in the past week?
Have you already checked this article which is for similar issues and followed the advice there:
Troubleshooting issues caused by system resources exceeded on Linux
https://www.nomachine.com/AR04O00927Also the webplayer show the weirdest things to my employees in this error-state.
What things? Can you submit screenshots of an example of what users see? What browser(s) are they using?
Moreover I have set the “EnableCredentialsStoring” parameter to “none”, but in webplayer and player users still can save their credentials…
Provide a screenshot of what users are seeing when they are at the authentication stage.
Was access via the browser working correctly beforehand? Was the EnableCredentialsStoring key working correctly before this? (we checked that it’s working in the latest version by the way). That key is set on the server, and setting to None will mean users won’t see the checkbox at the authentication stage.December 11, 2020 at 10:24 in reply to: Remove Screenshot option from NX Player or not to allow in NX Server #30713BritgirlKeymasterClosing the window of the player has the same function as the ‘Disconnect’ button in the menu.
Regarding latency, bandwidth and other benchmarks, it can depend on a combination of factors such as what you want to use the connection for, if it’s on a VPN or not, etc so please consult the following:
Guidelines for sizing a NoMachine infrastructure and benchmark tests for v. 6
https://www.nomachine.com/AR02P00966For making your own tests, see “Reading NoMachine statistics”
https://www.nomachine.com/AR02N00875BritgirlKeymasterMaybe nxnode is not added to Accessibility or Screen recording? Did you check that? Some tips are here: https://www.nomachine.com/AR11Q01061
If not, it could be this problem:
‘No available sessions’ is issued when connecting to the Mac login screen
https://www.nomachine.com/TR02R09535BritgirlKeymasterIs this a recent install? If so, did you reboot after installing?
What happens if you click ‘Start the server’? Does it start and then stop?
What do logs show? Similar topics are:

the software could have detected that no monitor at all was configured in my setup and react in some way
It’s a bit difficult to predict that it won’t work even if there is no monitor detected (the combination of GPU model, the software driver, the OS etc). The answer is to force the set-up to use our virtual display even when it might not be necessary, that’s not what all users want.
December 7, 2020 at 17:49 in reply to: NoMachine connection fails first attempt, second attempt always successful #30675BritgirlKeymasterWe haven’t been able to reproduce the problem unfortunately (although we are still trying). We are currently making some changes to initialization of desktop duplication which we use for capturing screen, and we think this will help your case when these get released, most likely in version 7 onwards.
BritgirlKeymasterNoMachine doesn’t show the session at native resolution, but Retina will be fully supported soon, please see the Feature Request here: https://www.nomachine.com/FR02M02864
BritgirlKeymasterMantoshelis, you may have read my follow up in the topic that Kroy linked in his reply. As mentioned there, we are investigating a number of issues with Arch-based distros (currently unsupported by the way) to see if they can be fixed in a relatively straightforward way. For now, users can adopt the workaround suggested. Thanks for your patience.
BritgirlKeymasterWe would need you to enable debug in the logs in order to understand why NoMachine is not recognizing the disconnects correctly. Please follow the instructions here, https://www.nomachine.com/DT11R00182, on the computer you are connecting to and when you’ve replicated the behaviour, extract the logs and submit them again. Thank you.
BritgirlKeymasterWhilst our developers investigate the potential fix, you could consider reverting back to the previous update if possible (1909 or earlier).
BritgirlKeymasterWe are aware of this issue and a Trouble Report has already been opened. Please follow this link https://www.nomachine.com/TR10R09864 and then use the ‘notify me’ box next to the TR to sign up for notification of the fix when it is released.
