KeymasterHi, logs received.
I didn’t get an email notification for your last post either, September 12
Thanks for letting us know.

KeymasterThanks for your suggestion. We’ll evaluate ways to improve the guidelines in the welcome screens.

KeymasterCan you tell us what the game is?

KeymasterNot receiving email notifications for your replies yet (I only get emails for the ones I write myself). I’m positive that the tick box for “Notify me on follow-up replies via email” was ticked. Like in this reply I’m writing right now. The box is in front of my eyes, and it’s ticked.
I’ll get this investigated. Send the logs to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com at your earliest convenience.

KeymasterThe logs you submitted did not include the nxserver –daemon parts, for whatever reason, and it is these that we need, so what you should do is restart the server and proceed with extracting a new set of logs as per https://www.nomachine.com/DT10O00163. Thanks very much.
“Notify me of follow-up replies via email”,
The box wasn’t checked. Confirm that you are now receiving email notifications, please.

KeymasterHi, we received the logs, thank you. Unfortunately, we also need the logs from nxserver –daemon. So, it’s best to restart the nxserver, reproduce the problem again and resubmit logs. Thanks!

KeymasterFirstly check that the firewall is not interfering on the server side.
Secondly, please send the logs via forum[at]nomachine[dot]com. They most likely didn’t attach because they were too big. We’ll need both client and server sides.

KeymasterHi, it’s not a supported platform hence we don’t have a download on our website 🙂 It’s not been requested enough times to warrant adding it to our official list. Despite that we recently tried FreeBSD’s own Linux compatibility layer to see if we could run the player binaries for Linux but there were a number of problems in the UI which are not so easy to fix, and we are still trying to fix them.
A solution to access your Linux server could be using the browser. Web-based access is available in the Enterprise products including the evaluation software.

Keymasterre: UPnP – the setting it is usually out of my hands (e.g. hotels, public NAT, heck, even with the TorGuard VPN).
In that case Network will solve this.
Provided you have NoMachine installed on the host and on the connecting client you will be able to get access to the remote host over NoMachine Network. Who can connect depends on what you have installed on the computer you are remoting in to (the host). This is the case regardless of how you connect – using hostname/IP address or the Network service.
The free version installed on the host accepts one connection at any time. A user can have NoMachine player (the client side) installed on as many devices as they want. However, if you try to connect from 2 or more at the same time to a host with the free version installed, it won’t be possible. Only one connection will be possible.
Enterprise Desktop, on the other hand, will accept multiple simultaneous connections. If you have many devices which want connect to the same host at the same time, then Enterprise Desktop is what should be installed on the host.
The free version will probably suffice. You can in any case compare the two here: https://www.nomachine.com/remote-access-for-everyone . There are additional functionalities in Enterprise Desktop which may be interesting for you 🙂

KeymasterPlease consult this topic: https://forums.nomachine.com/topic/problems-connecting-to-one-remote-computer
See the article “How to connect to NoMachine when the server is behind a NAT router or a firewall”: https://www.nomachine.com/AR11L00827
VPN and DDNS setups shouldn’t cause issues. If you have enabled UPnP and your public IP is different to the one showing on whatismyip.com, then there is something blocking the connection between the router and Internet access. It could that you have a double NAT set-up.
As I wrote in that other topic, the easiest option for you is to wait for NoMachine Network, coming soon, which will eliminate this problem altogether. It will avoid having to know the remote computer’s public-facing IP address and eliminate the need to configure port-forwarding on the router sitting in front of the computer you want to access.

KeymasterWhen you connected with NoMachine previously, and it was working, you may have been connecting on your home LAN network? You will need to enable UPnP or enable port-forwarding on your router.

KeymasterAs Bilbotine and Kroy suggested earlier, the output that you pasted shows that there is a double NAT set up and port-forwarding will need to be enabled. Please see the answer in this topic: https://forums.nomachine.com/topic/pcs-behind-multiple-routers#post-10084

IMO, the easiest option for you is to wait for NoMachine Network, coming soon, which will eliminate this problem altogether. It will avoid having to know the remote computer’s public-facing IP address and eliminate the need to configure port-forwarding on the router sitting in front of the computer you want to access.
