BritgirlKeymasterWe haven’t receive anything. It is possible for you to share them via Google drive or similar? We can download from that.
BritgirlKeymasterWe are not aware of copy and paste problems between Windows computers. Please provide specific steps to reproduce e.g.
– start NoMachine session to remote computer
– open application on remote computer (which application?)
– from local Windows computer copy some text from the application (which application?)
– move to NoMachine to paste the copied text
Regarding your comment about connecting remotely, I’m not sure what you mean. If the two computers are on the same local network, the other remote computer of the two will show up in the Recent Connections panel. So you can just click the computer icon to connect. See here: https://www.nomachine.com/finding-other-nomachine-computers-on-the-same-network
If they are not on the same network, you will need to use the public-facing IP address of the remote computer.
Did you follow the instructions here?

For access over the Internet https://www.nomachine.com/getting-started-with-nomachine#internet
BritgirlKeymasterHi, what are you looking to install on the remote computers you need to provide access to? NoMachine and/or Enterprise Desktop?
On the connecting clients you can install the free NoMachine package or Enterprise Client, it’s up to you. For the remote computers it really depends what the users are doing and in what numbers.
Have you read this article?
Is NoMachine for remote desktop free?

BritgirlKeymasterI am not sure which topic you are referring to, another Ubuntu topic?
The logs were too big to attach successfully, so make sure send them to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com making sure you use the title of your topic as the subject.
Thanks!
BritgirlKeymasterNo, it’s not normal.
Please provide details of the desktop environment you are connecting to (it’s too small to tell), and from what client OS you are conencting, plus what you’ve downloaded and installed from our website. Thanks!
BritgirlKeymaster@MickM, I suggest you wait for the tweak that Bucu mentioned with regards to the Magic Mouse issue.
For Cadence-related issues you should consider opening a support enquiry, or get your administrator to open one on your behalf. It’s probably more than a simple configuration issue and would need a much deeper investigation IMHO (not one that we can do via the forums). You could also try contacting Cadence Support and see what they suggest, or put the question in their community forums.
BritgirlKeymasterUntil then, there are no viable alternatives until support for “no-encoding” is possible.
Update 2022: after careful consideration support for “no-encoding” or uncompressed forwarding will not be implemented. Please refer to: https://forums.nomachine.com/topic/uncompressed-option-no-encoding.
BritgirlKeymasterThe next MR should include a patch for this issue which is encountered when AVG/Avast is installed.
BritgirlKeymasterI confirm we received the logs 🙂
BritgirlKeymasterYes, hit reply to the last received email you got from us and attach them to that. We haven’t received any email with attachments from you other than those from a couple of weeks ago.
BritgirlKeymasterPlease submit the logs to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com making sure you put the title of the topic in the subject.
BritgirlKeymasterZenith, did you not send the logs in the end? We haven’t received them.
BritgirlKeymasterAn interesting use-case and at the moment rather a niche one. At the moment we don’t have an SDK which would let you do that, but it’s something that we could re-evaluate in the future.
BritgirlKeymasterProvided there are no problems as highlighted in the article I showed you and you query your public IP address, it will be the correct information.
Btw, I tried the software you mentioned and it has a problem in general with reading cmd.exe content, so you had better take this issue directly to them. Windows 10’s own Narrator works well with prompt’s content.
Try the new script, it will write the output to notepad.
A new feature we are working on, NoMachine Network, will remove this need to check the IP address by allowing users who have created Network accounts to log in and allow other authorised NoMachine Network users to access their desktop. This will probably be much easier for her. You can read more about this here: https://www.nomachine.com/FR07J02731

BritgirlKeymasterIt works on Windows 10 using the system’s own screen reader which is shipped with the OS. Are you using something else?
The port might change, but you can fix it in the server.cfg file of the computer you want to access and then it won’t.
You need admin rights to make the following changes.
On Windows the server.cfg file is in ProgramFiles x86 (the default location) -> NoMachine -> etc folder (Program Files (x86)/NoMachine/etc). You can edit the server.cfg with a text editor.
Locate the key NXUPnPPort, remove “#” next to it and put the port number you would like to fix it to. Then save.
