Everyone please update to the lastest version. If the issue is still being encountered, we’ll open a new thread.
BritgirlKeymasterUpdate: a client is now available. Please see https://www.nomachine.com/forums/topic/nomachine-client-available-for-linux-armv7-devices-and-raspberry-pi-2 for more details.
Alternatively, go straight to download: https://www.nomachine.com/download/linux&id=1
BritgirlKeymasterDo you mean, that NX 3 supported the lightweight protocol but meanwhile in NX 4 this is not free any more?
Yes, that’s correct. The free version of NoMachine 4 gives you access to the physical display. If you want access to Linux virtual desktops and applications, you need the Workstation for example, or another of the products offering the virtual desktop functionality.
BritgirlKeymasterGood news!!! We have a client build available for Linux ARMv7, and the ARMv6 armhf compilation for Raspbian is now complete. Users who are interested in trying them out, please contact us (Contact Us link in the footer) to get further details 🙂
BritgirlKeymasterYes, you need any of the following: Workstation, Small Business Server, Terminal Server, Enterprise Server or Cloud Server.
Compare products here:

Follow the guidelines here and select ‘Custom session’ in Fig. 6.

BritgirlKeymasterHi, I have removed your pdf because it contained sensitive data. Please make sure that host, protocol and port number have been entered correctly according to those instructions (host name, ssh as protocol…). I strongly suggest you contact ESRF’s administrator for the server. They could open a ticket with our support team directly.
BritgirlKeymasterThe “Web Player” functionality is what we refer to when talking about running a remote session in the browser. What you need is the Cloud Server. The Web Companion page has been updated to show the correct name.

BritgirlKeymasteryes, there is 🙂 It has been a popular request. We will be releasing one in Alpha for users to try – possibly next week. We’ll let you know here when the packages are available. We’ll also post to the RPi forums to let all Raspberry users know as well.
BritgirlKeymasterSergei, send to forum[at]nomachine [dot] com. Make sure you reference the title of your topic in the subject.
BritgirlKeymasterThe download page will be updated. Note that the main download page states “Fedora 10 or later”. This means that NoMachine will work on any successive version of Fedora 10. As it states here: https://www.nomachine.com/AR07H00568
“NoMachine should work with the latest version of the Operating System, unless major changes in the OS require NoMachine to align its own software. ” This means that if there are any issues, they will be fixed so that our software can work with the version of the affected Linux distribution. If you are worried that we don’t provide support for this version, don’t worry, we do. If you are having issues, please report them.
BritgirlKeymasterCan you tell us what Linux distro and its version is installed on your 3 machines?
There is a similar topic here: https://www.nomachine.com/forums/topic/error-is-111-connection-refused and here:

Please check the advice there and tell us if it helps.
BritgirlKeymasterCan you send the info to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com
