BritgirlKeymasterCan you tell us what the OS and version is on the client side, also on the server side we need to know the distribution and version.
BritgirlKeymasterNo. Input buffering is not configurable. Events are transmitted as soon as it’s possible.
BritgirlKeymasterSorry for not being clear. I have just edited my post to clarify what you can do. There was some confusion between your two posts (which were asking the same question, but worded differently).
The Workstation evaluation is for 30 days. Please try the free product and see if this satisfies your requirements for desktop sharing.
If you were to decide to opt for the Workstation, any updates we release (including majors) are available as part of your annual subscription.
BritgirlKeymasterDesktop sharing is possible with all our products. NoMachine (free to download) will let you connect to another user’s computer and see what is happening on the desktop. You need NoMachine installed both sides.
If you don’t want to connect to the physical desktop, you could consider using Workstation which will run a virtual desktop ‘behind’ the physical desktop of the remote host. Where you have a Workstation installed, it is possible to share any of the virtual desktops running.
See the following articles for more details: https://www.nomachine.com/AR10K00702 and https://www.nomachine.com/AR10K00700
Our next release, NoMachine 5, which is going to be released very soon, will offer screen blanking. This is useful for unattended machines or when administrators don’t wish to show the operations being performed on the screen. It’s a setting which is configurable by the owner of the desktop: https://www.nomachine.com/FR09I02610
BritgirlKeymasterA quick overview of what’s coming up 🙂 Screen blanking, internationalization of GUI, native GUI (set either native or the traditional ‘dark’), resolution slider in the Display settings to let you dynamically change the resolution to your specific requirements, enhanced performance (we’ve added support for Nvidia’s Maxwell architecuture (see the recent videos on our FB page for examples), improved multi-monitor support, out-of-the-box support for Linux headless servers, oh and a few more things for the enterprise-oriented range such as Kerberos ticket-based authentication and enhanced remote node management.
BritgirlKeymasterWe opened a Trouble Report for this particular bug https://www.nomachine.com/TR09M06021. Please sign up to the ‘notify me’ tool to know when it has been fixed.
BritgirlKeymasterNext week 😉 Have you signed up to our mailing list? https://www.nomachine.com/mailing-lists
BritgirlKeymasterWhat version of NoMachine are you using (both sides)? Can you send us the logs? https://www.nomachine.com/AR10K00697
Send to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com making sure you reference the topic. Thanks!
BritgirlKeymasterWe got the logs. Thanks for letting us know. We’ll update this post soon.
BritgirlKeymasterCan you confirm that this is using the latest version of NoMachine, both sides?
BritgirlKeymasterHi, sorry that you were waiting, but I wanted to check on the state of development. A package is being tested as I write this. Watch this space for further news 😉
BritgirlKeymasterHi, it would really help us if you were able to answer the questions that are, so far, unanswered by other users reporting the same problem. If you can provide the information requested at the following replies, we will be able to investigate 🙂

https://www.nomachine.com/forums/topic/completely-wrong-keyboard-mapping#post-6761
And also the output of of the “xinput” command on the server side. Don’t forget to confirm what OS and NoMachine version you have installed both sides. Thanks!
BritgirlKeymasterCould be a bandwidth problem. Try lowering the quality https://www.nomachine.com/DT10K00060&dn=#5.6 by moving the slider to the left.
Have you tried transferring a file, for example through SCP (outside the session)? This would show you whether bandwidth is enough i.e during the transfer of a chunky file you will be able to see what bytes/second are being sent.
BritgirlKeymasterYou need the Workstation: https://www.nomachine.com/product&p=NoMachine%20Workstation
BritgirlKeymasterWe’ve not been able to reproduce this with the latest version of NoMachine and Tumbleweed. We’ll need the logs to see be able to say what’s happening and eventually fix any issues. https://www.nomachine.com/DT04M00076
