KeymasterCan you submit client-side logs? This way we can check to see what’s going wrong. Follow these instructions: https://www.nomachine.com/DT10O00163#2
Also OS version, client and server side would be useful.

Keymasterlogs received, but please check the version of NoMachine client you have installed.

KeymasterGood choice, it also gives you access via the browser in case the connecting clients can’t install the NoMachine package for whatever reason đŸ™‚

KeymasterGood to hear! Thanks for letting us know.

KeymasterCan you tell us what performance is like when each user connects on their own, so one person connected?

KeymasterNoMachine shows the terminal as it is, so you either need to scroll up the client viewport through scrollbars, or you need to scroll up the terminal. If none of this helps, can you show us a screenshot of what you see? Blank out any sensitive information.

KeymasterZenith, your email provider has been blocked for spamming. This is why we are not receiving the latest emails from you. Please send them from an alternative email address. Thanks!

KeymasterThanks for the detailed explanation. If you’ve installed free version of NoMachine on both your computers, each one will have a player.cfg and server.cfg. You don’t need to edit these, NoMachine works out of the box in the majority of scenarios. If you are connecting to the remote computer when you are on the same local network use this IP NX://192.168.x.xx, if you are connecting to it and you are not on the same network use this 206.xx.x.xxx or if it’s the other PC you need to connect to it will be 73.xxx.xx. xxx.
See the article about computers behind NAT if you didn’t already do so.

https://www.nomachine.com/AR11L00827For drag and drop, you cannot drag and drop folders, you will have to zip them and then drag and drop. Is this what you are trying to do? For drag and drop read here: https://www.nomachine.com/AR06Q01033

KeymasterThat article is also pretty clear in its commercial activity examples. The list is not exhaustive for obvious reasons.
– Offering access to a hosted desktop as part of your company’s services for employees or customers.
– Accessing multiple computers to carry out regular business-related activity for your organization.
If the developers are doing work for the company, and are accessing computers at your site to carry out regular business-related activity for your organization, that is considered commercial use and you would require Enterprise Desktop to be installed on those machines.
NoMachine software is free for non-commercial use. If you are using the software at work, or in a commercial environment, you are required to acquire a license for Enterprise Desktop or one of our enterprise-oriented products. Unlike some other remote access software, NoMachine doesn’t try to guess or find out whether you are using the software in a commercial-related activity, but, as the license states, if you are using our software to access a desktop for business or in your company, you are required to buy a license.
Please contact sales about volume discounts, I also believe there are some special offers available for those affected by the current crisis.Britgirl
KeymasterDid you disable those keys in the node.cfg on the remote computer (server-side) installation?

Tell us what Windows version it is? What about the other computer you are connecting from?
Britgirl
KeymasterWe haven’t receive anything. It is possible for you to share them via Google drive or similar? We can download from that.

KeymasterWe are not aware of copy and paste problems between Windows computers. Please provide specific steps to reproduce e.g.
– start NoMachine session to remote computer
– open application on remote computer (which application?)
– from local Windows computer copy some text from the application (which application?)
– move to NoMachine to paste the copied text
Regarding your comment about connecting remotely, I’m not sure what you mean. If the two computers are on the same local network, the other remote computer of the two will show up in the Recent Connections panel. So you can just click the computer icon to connect. See here: https://www.nomachine.com/finding-other-nomachine-computers-on-the-same-network
If they are not on the same network, you will need to use the public-facing IP address of the remote computer.
Did you follow the instructions here?

KeymasterHi, what are you looking to install on the remote computers you need to provide access to? NoMachine and/or Enterprise Desktop?
On the connecting clients you can install the free NoMachine package or Enterprise Client, it’s up to you. For the remote computers it really depends what the users are doing and in what numbers.
Have you read this article?

KeymasterI am not sure which topic you are referring to, another Ubuntu topic?
The logs were too big to attach successfully, so make sure send them to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com making sure you use the title of your topic as the subject.
Thanks!
