If you have NoMachine (free) installed, open the GUI, click on Settings -> Server Preferences (bottom of GUI) -> Updates.

We have alerted Oracle to the problem. In meantime, you can uninstall the USB drivers without having to remove NoMachine. Please check the article here: https://www.nomachine.com/AR11K00756

There are hundreds of potential error messages which cover client errors, server errors and system errors (networking, disk access etc). Rather than have a document dedicated entirely to error messages, we have the Knowledge Base and forums which can help with common messages that may appear. If you are encountering issues, please tell us what message is being shown and we will try to help.
This is a bug in Chrome, not NoMachine. We have seen that problem is the same when Chrome is used on the physical screen (so take away NoMachine from the scenario) with the new Flash plugin 11.2.202.616. It is not reproduced using Chrome with flash plugin version 11.2.202.548.

@redmumba what distribution is the Amazon image? Slackware?
