KeymasterHi, sorry for the delay in replying. You can install NoMachine (as a client) on a USB pendrive.
– Install NoMachine Enterprise Client on a Windows host, then copy the install directory on a USB pendrive.
– You will need to change the path that is used for saving configuration and connection files.
– Once copied to your pendrive, open the UI and select Preferences -> Folders.
There you can change the paths (there are four) to point to your USB pendrive. Have fun, and let us know how you get on đ
We do have an FR open which will provide a portable version specifically for a USB sticks:

KeymasterGeoff, if you want to get access via the web (using your browser), you should take a look at this tutorial here: https://www.nomachine.com/getting-started-with-web-based-access.
Port 4000 is for a native connection (i.e. when connecting from the traditional GUI, coming very soon for iPad). When connecting via browser to your remote machine, you need to check you have two things done: 1) have Cloud Server installed, and 2) port 4443 is set. This is explained more in the document above.

KeymasterThen please go back to âSystem Settingsâ and go to âDisplay and Monitorâ -> âScreen Saverâ and please share whatâs set in the âSettingsâ section. So which options are checked and what are their values.
Did the above instructions have any effect? If you are interested, we also have a patched package that we would like you to test. Can you contact us here:Â https://www.nomachine.com/contact-request, referencing your forum post?

KeymasterPoint 2 isn’t clear, can you explain what isn’t working correctly? Our developers are investigating point 1 in the meantime.
Britgirl
KeymasterI don’t think I understand what you want to do. Do you want to redirect the headphones to the NoMachine server or KVM? If NoMachine is not redirecting to its own server, this would be a bug.

KeymasterWe need to investigate further. Can you contact us via https://www.nomachine.com/report-issues referencing the topic name?
We will pass you a binary file of nxupnp to install. After installing it, we will need the output of nxupnp.exe -l and check whether you see the Windows machine IP in the list.
If you don’t, you can add it manually by executing: nxupnp.exe -A list 4000 -R <OUTSIDE_PORT> TCP 600.

KeymasterHi Misha,
can you contact our team using this form and we will explain what the next steps are.

KeymasterHi, are you able to submit logs to us? Instructions on how to extract them are here: https://www.nomachine.com/AR10K00697
If the files are not too big, you can attach them here, otherwise you will need to send them to issues[at]nomachine.com. Our developers will take a look to see what’s going wrong.

KeymasterBecause Enterprise Server âstays in the middleâ of NX session in the current realisation and is a point of failure. Maybe clusterisation helps with it, but, as I understand, anyway all nx sessions will be disconnected when the cluster switch (or not?).
The high-availability feature of NoMachine monitors the servers in an active-passive set up. Check this document for more details:
https://www.nomachine.com/DT03L00066
Sessions on the NoMachine nodes are preserved in case of failover and can be reconnected.

KeymasterCan you check that your server is configured properly? Follow these steps:
– Go to the !M icon in the system tray of the computeryou are connecting from.
– Click “Show server status/Connection status”
– Select Server preferences/Connection preferences
– Click on the NX service with the right mouse button (it’s the ‘NX’ under the ‘Name’ label)
– Click edit service
– Check the ‘Gateway port’ boxMay 19, 2014 at 10:14 in reply to: Could not connect to the server. Error is 138: Connection timed out. #4095Britgirl
Keymasterforwarded TCP/UDP ports 4000 and 4011-4099
Did you make these changes on the router?
Britgirl
KeymasterIf you made this change on the client, you could try a reinstall and create a new connection. Reinstalling will use the default key.
Britgirl
KeymasterEither your router doesn’t support UPnP or or NAT-PMP, or they are disabled. Have you tried manually configuring forwarding on the router? See these similar posts:

KeymasterThe client program is now called nxplayer, so this is what you need to use.
