    Hi,

    1. Can NoMachine be installed on multiple Macs?

If you are using it for personal use, yes. This includes using NoMachine at work to get access to your home Mac.

    2. Can I access ANY Mac at home regardless if it is Leopard, Mavericks or Yosemite?

    From Leopard 10.5 onwards.

    3. Can I use my iPhone to access ANY Mac at home?

From your iPad, yes. We don’t currently have an app that can be installed on your iPhone.

What messages are you seeing when trying to connect to the server? This might help us to point you in the right direction.

NoMachine can run on a number of thin clients, see this other post for some more inf: https://www.nomachine.com/forums/topic/nomachine-client-on-thin-clients#post-6825

Wyse isn’t among our officially supported thin client manufacturers. Is the Wyse model you mention running Dell’s Thin OS? Dell might be able to tell you whether it supports NoMachine connections. Did you try asking in their forums?

If your PC’s IP is changing all the time, the best option for you is the upcoming product, to be released soon:

    https://www.nomachine.com/FR07J02731

This will allow people to connect to their remote computer without knowing the IP address.

I assume you are using version 4 on both sides. Any running sessions available for sharing will be shown in the session list. So if user ‘nomachine’ authenticates to the server, and provided that desktop sharing is enabled (it is by default), he will see your desktop session. See the attached screenshot. You can see two session types: a session to the physical display owned by user ‘nomachine’ and a virtual desktop session owned by ‘nxtest01’.  Clicking on the session owned by ‘nxtest01’ will allow me (I  am user ‘nomachine’) to get access to his virtual Linux desktop.

If you are using 3.5.0, I suggest you look at this article https://www.nomachine.com/ar11b00098 and then for further questions submit them via the Contact Us link in the footer of the website. NX 3.5.0 questions are dealt with via the website.

Can you open a new topic stating all the details of the issue, the browser type and version and steps to reproduce? I take it you are using 4.5 on both client and server sides. Make sure you state this in your new topic. I will be closing this thread, so we can start afresh. We will need the answers to these questions:

The NoMachine products and versions in use on client and server.

Operating system and desktop environment in use on client and server.

If server is Linux: are you connecting to a physical or a virtual display?

Can you provide specific instructions to reproduce the issue?

    Hi,

that error can come up when there has been a misspelling in the IP address. For example, 10.0.0.1;111 instead of 10.0.0.1:111. Are you able to check in the client logs, so that we know for sure what IP you inserted?

@npn Graywolf was requesting that those users experiencing the issue from Windows to Mac contact him.

Would you try a development version that could help with this issue? Please contact us by mail: forum (at) nomachine (dot) com

Now that 4.5 is out I suggest you submit a brand new topic if you have further issues so that we don’t get crossed information.

P.s you submitted another reply to this topic, but it is from Linux to Mac hence a different issue. I have moved it here:
