BritgirlKeymaster
We’ve viewed the video you sent via email and observed the behaviour which occurs when a sharp move of the finger on the magic mouse within the window causes the content of the window to reload slowly instead of scrolling up or down. (Note for new readers of this topic: when moving the finger on the mouse slowly within the window or in the actual scroll area at the side of the window NoMachine is responsive and content is rendered correctly).
At this point, we need to see debug logs because we need to see what’s being registered by NoMachine when you’re encountering the issue. So, please enable debug on both the Mac client and Linux Workstation host. Reproduce the problem and then send them to the usual email address. For instructions on how to enable debug, please follow this link:
July 1, 2020 at 15:05 in reply to: “Cannot detect any display running” when XMonad running on target machine #28369BritgirlKeymasterThis is the Trouble Report which you can monitor https://www.nomachine.com/TR06R09773, please sign up to the notification option.
I’m not sure whether it will make the next release which has already been planned.
BritgirlKeymasterThe client-side logs refer to the machine that you are connecting from, the device where you initiate the NoMachine connection. The server-side logs refer to the computer or host you are connecting to.
Please send them to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com making sure to use the title of the topic as the subject of your email. Thanks 🙂
BritgirlKeymasterPlease follow this article https://www.nomachine.com/AR02N00875 to get NoMachine statistics and more details on usage. Attach the statistics to your reply and we can take a look to see what’s happening.
Advice on bandwidth & optimizations:
Some guidelines for bandwidth usage and optimizations

https://www.nomachine.com/AR10K00721BritgirlKeymasterTo close the session it’s enough to click on the X to close the window. Or you can do it via the Menu if you prefer: Ctrl-Alt-0 -> Connection -> Disconnect.
Setting permissions is the responsibility of the user, we prefer not to allow such a change for security reasons. You could probably achieve what you want by running a custom script.
BritgirlKeymasterA patched package was sent last month. Did you get a chance to try it?

June 25, 2020 at 14:42 in reply to: “Cannot detect any display running” when XMonad running on target machine #28294BritgirlKeymasterApologies for not including the link to the document about logs. I have edited my reply for completeness. Thanks for your logs. We did manage to reproduce the problem and a fix will be released in one of the next software updates. Unfortunately, there is no workaround right now.
BritgirlKeymasterIt’s difficult to say what is happening and why without seeing the logs. We would need them from both client and server sides. Please see the instructions here: https://www.nomachine.com/DT10O00163. Submit both sets to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com making sure you use the title of this topic as the subject of your email. Thanks!
June 24, 2020 at 14:08 in reply to: “Cannot detect any display running” when XMonad running on target machine #28266BritgirlKeymasterI have to be honest and say that we haven’t tested NoMachine with XMonad. Are you able to send us the server logs from the session? See here for instructions and then send them to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com. Make sure you put the title of this topic as the subject.
BritgirlKeymasterHi, unfortunately this isn’t supported. iOS is a very restrictive system and as third-party developers we don’t have access to those types of functions.
BritgirlKeymasterThanks for letting us know.
June 24, 2020 at 13:50 in reply to: Release Notice: NoMachine 6.11.2 now available for download #28263BritgirlKeymasterCan you tell me what the distribution is and what desktop environment it is? What product is installed on the Linux host?
Have I understood correctly that updating the NoMachine Windows client to the latest 6.11, you cannot connect to a Linux NoMachine server also updated to 6.11?
BritgirlKeymasterHi, this is indeed strange. You shouldn’t have to log in to the server locally in order for the connection to work.
Would you be willing to submit logs after having encountered the white screen issue? To do that, you’d need to enable debug, reproduce the problem and then submit them directly to forum[at]nomachine.com. That way we can investigate. Please follow these instructions. Thanks very much.
