Not at the moment, but we can check how the client receives those events and how to use them on the remote OS in order to see whether adding support for it is possible. It’s certainly not a trivial thing 😉
BritgirlKeymasterAre you connecting over LAN or over the internet?
BritgirlKeymasterHi
NoMachine for the Enterprise range allows you to access your remote desktop over the Web.
You need to have installed either Enterprise Desktop or one of the other products in the Enteprise range on the computer you want to access. The free version doesn’t support browser-based connections.
BritgirlKeymasterNoMachine tries to support also all of the most popular DE and we don’t prefer one over another 🙂
Installing on any of the lightweight desktops such as XFCE, LXDE or Mate is an out-of-the-box process. For guidelines on bandwidth usage etc, take a look at our article in the KB about benchmarks: https://www.nomachine.com/AR02P00966. In it we compare KDE vs Gnome classic and XFCE in some typical set-ups.
BritgirlKeymasterPlease make sure you don’t have old sessions in the log file, it’s important you send us the logs of the attempted session which is affected. If they are still too big, you can try splitting them up.
BritgirlKeymasterPlease submit the crash report if you have one. Instructions are here:

BritgirlKeymasterPlease update to the latest version release a couple of days ago. It contains the patch. Full announcement here: https://www.nomachine.com/SU12Q00208
BritgirlKeymasterAutomatic recording will be possible in an upcoming version. But it won’t be possible in stealth mode.
However, there will be a notification to users whose sessions are going to be automatically recorded.
BritgirlKeymasterNow thinking about VR usage
Can you tell us a bit more how you are thinking of using it? It’s not clear to me how NoMachine could be a fit if I understand correctly what you are referring to.
BritgirlKeymasterWe will be releasing a software update soon. Please watch out for it.
BritgirlKeymasterWhen Network feature is available could you please place a reply in this thread?
Software releases are always advertised on our forum 😉
Does “host” mean “remote computer” in your book?
It does indeed. Our current licensing model is tied to the computer you connect to. We don’t count the connections from connecting clients. You install for example, Enterprise Desktop, on the remote computer you want to connect to. On the computer or device you are connecting from, install either the free NoMachine package, the app, or the Enterprise Client.
BritgirlKeymasterCheck that ‘Grab the mouse input’ is not ticked.
BritgirlKeymasterFollow the installation notes for Arch here: https://www.nomachine.com/AR03L00789
BritgirlKeymasterIt’s now in its final stages. The developers are working on UI adjustments and usability improvements. Priority support will be available for all customers with Server Subscriptions who sign up for the Network service. The forums will continue to be available for those using the free version of the software 🙂
BritgirlKeymaster@Zeddock, yes, you’re right. The status should have been set to Serious. It’s now up-to-date. I will send you a link to the patched package. Assuming that the problem you are experiencing is the one described in TR10Q09441, it should fix it. If you continue to have issues, then it is likely a different problem which should be handled separately, so opening a new topic would be appropriate. Thanks!
